Robert Lacy

Robert Lacy, 87, of Princeton, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at the River Oaks Health Campus of Princeton, IN. Robert was born on Thursday, March 19, 1936, in Nortonville, KY to Ralph and Anne Lee (Garrison) Lacy, both of whom precede him. 

Robert was a 1954 graduate of Princeton High School and a 1958 graduate of Purdue University. He attended the First Presbyterian Church of Princeton.  Robert worked at Standard Oil of Indiana as a chemical engineer. He also worked as a stockbroker and was a member of the world’s largest scientific organization known as the American Chemical Society.

Robert is survived by his brother, Garry Lacy of Evansville, IN; his niece, Angie (George) Wilhite of Princeton, IN; and their children, Jason, Sophie, Henry, Juliet, and Charlie.      

Robert is preceded by his parents and his nephew, Troy Lacy.

Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main St. in Princeton, IN, has the honor of serving the Lacy family.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton where Robert will be laid to rest with his family.
