Rita Marilyn Brewer

Rita Marilyn Brewer, 84, of Princeton, IN, formerly of Fort Branch. passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.  She was born on Sunday, November 19, 1939, Gibson County, IN to Otto and Erma (Caskey) Meier, both who have preceded. She is a 1958 graduate of Fort Branch High School.   On March 31, 1961, in Mackey IN, she married Lindel Keith Brewer who preceded her in death on December 20, 2019

Rita worked for Hanson Manufacturing for 43 years, retiring as an inspector in 2002. Rita enjoyed working puzzle books, taking care of her pets and working in her garden. Rita attended Bethel Memorial Church and always enjoyed fellowshipping with the other ladies there at the church.   Rita is survived by daughter, Lynn Reel of Petersburg, IN, one sister, Phyllis Carter of Cincinnati, OH, one grandson Jeffrey Keith (Mindi) Reel of Winslow, IN and one great grandson due to arrive June 25^th, Kaiden Joe Reel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith and son in law, Joe Reel.

Visitation for Rita will be Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4:00P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Doyle Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St, Princeton, IN.

Funeral Services will be at 7:00 P.M. on April 5 at Doyle Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating.

A graveside service will take place at 10:00 A.M. on April 6, 2024, at Albright Cemetery in Mackey, IN.

Family suggests memorials may be made to the Gibson County Animal Services at 3840 County Rd. 175, Fort Branch, IN 47648
