Rebecca Ann Glenn

Rebecca Ann Glenn, 58, of Patoka, IN, passed away, surrounded by her family, at her home in Patoka on Monday, February 3, 2025. Rebecca was born in Princeton, Indiana on Thursday, November 10, 1966 to Vaughn Oliver and Elnor Bugher Glenn. Rebecca attended Princeton Community High School and was actively involved in FFA. She was a 1985 graduate of the former Temple Christian Academy of Princeton, then enrolled in Mid-America College of Funeral Service, graduating with honors. Rebecca passed both her Indiana State and National Boards, completed her internship, and received her Indiana State Funeral Director's License. At one point, while working at the former Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, Rebecca was the only female funeral director in Vincennes, Indiana. Rebecca attended the Greater Holy Temple Church in Princeton.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Elnor Glenn of Patoka, IN; one daughter, Arieal Whitfield of Patoka, IN; one sister, Veronica Jean Robinson (Roger) of Loogootee, IN; two grandchildren, Tommy and Tyne Payne; one great granddaughter, Ayla Payne, of Princeton, IN; a nephew, Justin Hill of Patoka, IN; a great niece, Krislyn Shephard of Vincennes; her special friends, Mark Dyer of Lawrenceville, IL and Kim Dooley Jones of Owensville, IN; and her 3 faithful canine companions, Etta, Little Fetters and Browny.

Rebecca was preceded by her father, Vaughn Glenn, in 2011, and her grandmother, Pearl Murphy.

Per her wishes, Rebecca will be cremated. A celebration of her life will take place at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 at the Greater Holy Temple Church located at 202 E. Pinkney Street, Princeton, IN 47670 with Rev. William Wayne Simmons officiating.
