Matthew Parker Smith

Matthew Parker Smith, 32, of Princeton passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Parker was born on Wednesday, November 27,1991 in Evansville, IN, to Max David Smith and Sandra Kay (Christmas) Smith.

Parker was a lifelong area resident and was employed as a coal miner with Gibson County Coal LLC working at the South location located in Owensville, IN for approximately 5 years.

Parker is survived by his mother, Sandra Kay Smith of Fort Branch, IN, his fiancé, Chevy Ivers of Princeton, IN, 1 son, Ashton Parker Smith of Princeton, IN, and 1 daughter, Aurora Presley Michelle Smith also of Princeton, IN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Max and sister, Michelle Renee Christmas.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be a time of visitation with the family starting at 1:00 PM until the Celebration of Life Service which will take place at a 3:00 PM on January 6, 2024, at Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main St. in Princeton, IN with Pastor Bob Douglas officiating.
