Marciano A. Santiago, 55, of Princeton passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the Deaconess Gibson Hospital in Princeton. Marciano was born on Tuesday, January 30, 1968, in the City of Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, to Felicismo and Fermina A. Santiago.
Marciano was married to Maria Luisa Reyes Santiago and was employed at Vuteq Indiana as general laborer. Marciano and Maria have lived in the Princeton area for a year after moving here from El Paso, Texas.
Marciano is survived by his wife, Maria; two sons, Marlouie Reyes (Ximena) Santiago of St. George, Utah and John Francis Reyes Santiago of El Paso, Texas; his “favorite” daughter, Patricia Angela Santiago (Wilfredo) Francisco, Jr., also of El Paso, Texas; his brothers, John, JoJo, and Jun Santiago; and his sister, Rose Nakagawa and sister in law, Maria Balbastro Santiago. Other survivors include his grandchildren, William Marco Santiago Francisco, Daxton Zane Santiago, and Mila Luisa Santiago.
Marciano is preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a Mass at 2 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 410 S. Race Street in Princeton, IN. with Father Gary Kaiser officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family following the Mass until 4 pm and again from 6 to 8 pm, also at the Church. Marciano will be taken back to the Philippines where he will be laid to rest with his parents.
